Jennifer Kopnick is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and proud graduate of the University of Michigan–Flint. Before becoming a psychiatric provider, she spent many years working in the emergency department, where she gained extensive experience caring for patients in times of crisis and supporting families during some of their most challenging moments.
Jennifer treats patients of all ages and diagnoses, but she has a special passion for working with children and adolescents, particularly those navigating attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). She embraces a neurodiversity-affirming approach and is committed to providing inclusive, compassionate care for LGBTQ+ individuals and families.
Her practice style is collaborative and strengths-based, with a focus on helping patients and their families feel understood, empowered, and supported in their goals.
Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys running, reading across every genre (and can’t wait to hear about her patients’ favorite books!), and spending time with her beloved pets – three cats and one eyeless dog who proves that resilience and spirit come in all forms.
